November 2023: Massive heart attack, survived.
January 2024: Diagnosed with congestive heart failure.
Spring / Summer 2025: CHF gets worse, looks like I won't survive to see year end.
August 20th: Heart transplant, had complications, but by the grace of God, made it through.
September 30th: Released from hospital.
My apologies to opponents in the few games that for health reasons I did abandon.
