@wildgrass saidThis one is saying that republicans policies are inflationary!!!!!
All current GOP policies are inflationary and divergent from traditional party values.
Dems plans are to reverse that. Re-establish taxation on rich people. Remove taxes that burden small businesses trying to buy stuff from overseas, and taxes that slim the profit margins for farmers. Fix the immigration system so that we aren't detaining and deporting people for no rea ...[text shortened]... e. Balance the budget. Support innovation and R&D. Start punishing white collar crime again.
Etc.
Here is a neat example to prove you wrong. Trump just announced a refund of $90 per taxpayer in one of his programs. Look it up. The $90 is a refund of money that they have paid in. But, Such money as that gifted to society by the Democrats is just paid to them right of the treasury,… such as that scurrilous payoff of loans. And, also, such as taking money from rich people and doling it out.
So the thumbs-up that Susie gave to you out of love for your posting is quite misguided. I’m not a thumb guy, but I would give you a thumbs down. I don’t think it is in good taste. Since it is anonymous..
Your post is a joke. Tell us that liberal Democrats do not have inflationary program programs.!!😂
@AverageJoe1 saidThat is inflationary. The government is spending money it doesn't have, $2 trillion in deficit just this year and so the only way they could do this is print more money which causes inflation.

@wildgrass saidWhat is ‘THAT’ ? I responded that Democrats are equally as inflationary, leaving an example. Your response is less than adequate.. here is a link about the $90 payments.

This is an interesting morning. Suzianne is trying to say that racism and culturism are the same thing. Check out her post regarding that. and my response.
Neither of you ever nails it.

@wildgrass saidLet's get the facts straight. Trumps $90 Medicare payment is coming from an existing fund that Congress authorized and funded with $2 billion. It isn't necessarily newmoney borrowed to finance a new program, and it isn't a personal refund calculated from each senior's lifetime contributions, either.
The government spending money that it doesn't have is inflationary. I know you know that.
If you believe this particular payment is inflationary, can you explain how much inflation it is expected to cause and provide evidence for that estimate?
Tell us. You ole ‘no-inflation’ mogul.
Is Dems not inflationary? Never mind. Tell us the answer I ask for.
@AverageJoe1 saidTraditional government spending is not generally inflationary. E.g. infrastructure, R&D, healthcare, education.

But direct cash injections are inflationary. This is government spending that puts money directly into the hands of households and businesses (such as broad-based stimulus checks or pandemic-era relief) which increases aggregate demand faster than the economy can produce goods and services. Research from the MIT Sloan School of Management highlighted federal stimulus as a primary driver in these contexts. Pandemic spending definitely caused inflation, and this year there's no pandemic and we still have government spending $2 trillion more than they can afford. It seems obvious that this policy is causing inflation. And the Democrats are not in charge. This is GOP spending.
@wildgrass saidBut you're treating a one-time $90 Medicare premium rebate as though it were equivalent to the massive pandemic stimulus programs. It clearly is not

This payment is funded from the existing Medicare Improvement Fund, which Congress had already authorized and funded with $2 billlion. It isn't a new, general stimulus program financed entirely by new borrowing, which you are disingenuously Answer me this. What evidence shows that this specific $90 payment is having a meaningful effect on inflation?
Am I correct that you are going to vote on Al Syed and all of the socialist for one reason which is to get rid of Trump? They have no plans to speak of except generalizing, their list of plans says nothing about the affordability issue. Not one word I’ve seen the list.
Pitiful
@AverageJoe1 saidBig beautiful bill raised deficit spending by $5 trillion, not $90. Lol.

Rats.
Well, I guess I will go find Stillhouse and/or Suzianne for some raucous discussion!!!
Loser debaters abound. Granny and I will just play Cribbage.
@AverageJoe1
The elites who control election results from behind the scenes prefer a divided political system. So dems will probably gain control of the house and maybe the senate. That way when the status quo prevails they can just blame it on a gridlocked political system. Perfect excuse for changing nothing.
What makes me laugh is the assertion that the American people vote for a divided system because they prefer it. As if every state in the nation collectively decides that result. It is the dumbest political assertion I have ever heard. Money decides it. That and the corporate news media.
Divide and conquer. Since you are divided you know you have been conquered. You just don't know it yet.
@AThousandYoung saidLet’s see who the next riot is. I gotta tell you, I know no one with a bullhorn, or a tattoo for that matter.
You people predict leftist riots for everything and you’re always wrong
I bet you do 🫨🦿”Everyone, listen to me! Hear what I scream out! Hear what I scream into the wind! Is anyone hearing What I Think!?! Hello?!?”
@Metal-Brain saidOK. You win. Kamala is your president. Dems take over. Tell us what happens next. Keep it simple by not bringing up Trump, he will be playing golf.

I’d like to respond. I’d write a meaningful a long response , touch on all your issues. Just a honest response to an honest post. You can catch Suzianne humor(?) in another thread.

The elites prefer a lame duck presidency most of the time. It is the perfect excuse to maintain the status quo. The elites like things just the way they are. Change is not in their interest most of the time.
